The Senate voted on whether to waive budget rules for S.Amdt. 5806, an amendment that would shift $10 million from ICE to DACA renewal processing and bar title funds from being used against eligible DACA recipients. The underlying S. 2 would provide $70 billion through FY2029 for immigration enforcement, border security and related activities; the waiver was rejected, 12 votes short of the 60 needed.
