What the House was voting on
The House voted on whether to add H.Amdt. 154 to H.Res. 1014, a resolution setting the terms for considering H.R. 7148 and H.R. 7147. The amendment would repeal section 213 of a 2026 continuing appropriations act and the changes it made. It was agreed to, with 427 voting yes and none voting no. This vote changed the resolution, not whether to pass the appropriations bills.
Add H.Amdt. 154’s repeal of section 213 and its changes to H.Res. 1014.
Leave H.Res. 1014’s text unchanged.
Repeals section 213 of title II of Division C of the 2026 continuing appropriations act and the amendments made by that section.
Signed into law on Feb. 3, 2026 as Public Law 119-75, 14 days after it was introduced.
