THE BILL · H.R. 5371

Continuing Appropriations, Agriculture, Legislative Branch, Military Construction and Veterans Affairs, and Extensions Act, 2026

Federal agencies and public programs need funding and legal authority to keep operating. The law provides temporary funding for most agencies, full-year funding for agriculture, Congress, and military construction and veterans affairs, and extends several farm, health, and veterans programs. It also renews the FDA's over-the-counter drug fee program and changes some related rules.
