Keep the light on.
Most of what Congress does never makes the news: late-night votes, thousand-page bills, amendments that quietly rewrite them. And what does make the news is forgotten by the next cycle.
ChamberLight keeps the record the news cycle buries: every vote, every bill and every story about the people who represent you, the good looks and the bad. Dated, sourced and still there years later, when it’s time to decide whether they’ve earned another term.
No advertiser, party or campaign pays to keep that light on. Readers do. If ChamberLight has helped you see what your members are up to, help keep it on for the next person.

Where your money goes
Into ChamberLight and nothing else: keeping the site fast and online, collecting every vote, bill and news story each day, and building new pages. ChamberLight is built and run independently, with no investors and no advertisers.
Who we take money from
Readers. We don’t accept money from campaigns, parties, PACs, lobbyists or government bodies, and we refund any that gets through.
Giving changes nothing about what you see or how you count. Supporters’ votes, comments and submissions count exactly like everyone else’s.
