Young served as a prosecutor from 2007 to 2010 and represented Indiana’s 9th congressional district in the U.S. House from 2011 to 2017.
Young earned a Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy in 1995, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago in 2000, a Master of Arts from the University of London in 2001, and a Juris Doctor from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2006. Young served as a prosecutor from 2007 to 2010, represented Indiana’s 9th congressional district in the U.S. House from 2011 to 2017, and was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2016, beginning Senate service in 2017.
