Sen. John Kennedy said President Donald Trump's endorsement helped Julia Letlow lead Louisiana's GOP Senate primary, where incumbent Bill Cassidy finished third. Kennedy also pointed to voter confusion over the state's move to closed primaries as a factor in the result.
