Tom Barrett has represented Michigan’s 7th district in the U.S. House since 2025. Chair of the House Subcommittee on Technology Modernization.
A former U.S. Army officer and financial analyst, Barrett served in the Michigan House from 2015 to 2019 and the Michigan Senate from 2019 to 2023.
Barrett earned a Bachelor of Arts from Western Michigan University in 2007 and worked as a financial analyst and U.S. Army officer. Barrett served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 2015 to 2019 and the Michigan Senate from 2019 to 2023.
