Seth Moulton has represented Massachusetts’s 6th district in the U.S. House since 2015. Announced a run for U.S. Senate (MA) in October 2025; not seeking re-election.
Before entering Congress, Moulton served in the Marine Corps and earned graduate degrees in business and public administration.
Moulton graduated from Harvard College with a Bachelor of Science in physics in 2001, then served in the Marine Corps, including four tours in Iraq. In 2011, Moulton earned a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Master of Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government. Moulton entered politics in 2014 and was elected to the U.S. House for Massachusetts's 6th district, beginning service in 2015.
