Ruben J. Kihuen represented Nevada’s 4th district in the U.S. House from 2017 to 2019.
Before serving in Congress, Kihuen served in the Nevada Assembly from 2007 to 2010 and the Nevada State Senate from 2011 to 2016.
Kihuen attended the College of Southern Nevada and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2004. Kihuen worked as congressional staff from 2004 to 2006, served in the Nevada Assembly from 2007 to 2010, and earned a master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2011.
