Jefferson Van Drew has represented New Jersey’s 2nd district in the U.S. House since 2019. Chair of the House Subcommittee on Oversight.
Van Drew served in the New Jersey General Assembly from 2002 to 2008 and in the New Jersey Senate from 2008 to 2018.
Van Drew attended Fairleigh Dickinson University and Rutgers University. Before serving in Congress, Van Drew held local offices as a fire commissioner, township committee member, mayor of Dennis Township, and Cape May County freeholder.
