Evan H. Jenkins
Evan H. Jenkins represented West Virginia’s 3rd district in the U.S. House from 2015 to 2018.
Jenkins served in the West Virginia House of Delegates from 1994 to 1998 and the state Senate from 2002 to 2014. Jenkins later served as a justice of the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals from 2018 to 2022, including as chief justice in 2021.
Jenkins earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida in 1983 and a Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law in 1987, and studied at the University of Florence. Jenkins served in the West Virginia House of Delegates from 1994 to 1998 and the West Virginia State Senate from 2002 to 2014. Jenkins represented West Virginia in the U.S. House from 2015 to 2018, then joined the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals in 2018.
