Anthony G. Brown
Anthony G. Brown represented Maryland’s 4th district in the U.S. House from 2017 to 2023.
A lawyer and retired Army Reserve colonel, Brown served in the Maryland House of Delegates from 1999 to 2007 and as lieutenant governor from 2007 to 2015.
Brown attended the United States Military Academy, earned a bachelor’s degree from Harvard College in 1984 and a law degree from Harvard Law School in 1992, and worked as a lawyer and served in the Army Reserve, retiring as a colonel. Brown served in the Maryland House of Delegates from 1999 to 2007, then as lieutenant governor from 2007 to 2015.
