Andy Barr won Kentucky’s Republican Senate primary, with 64% of the vote when the Associated Press called the race. He will face Democrat Charles Booker in the general election to succeed retiring Sen. Mitch McConnell.
Barr’s campaign benefited from President Donald Trump’s endorsement and a large spending advantage.
