In an interview with Jesse Watters, Sen. Ted Cruz said Democrats wanted to cancel Thanksgiving and Christmas. He called Zohran Mamdani and Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed Islamists and said they wanted Sharia law and hated Jews, Christians, capitalism and America. Cruz described the progressive wing's rise as a “communist takeover” of the Democratic Party.
