HOW WE SCORE ↗The questionnaire clearly attributes the answers to Elam and covers a range of policy areas. Because it presents one candidate's responses without independent evidence, opposing perspectives or fact-checking, its value is primarily as a record of her stated positions.
HOW WE SCORE ↗The page is a single-candidate questionnaire, so Elam's perspective dominates and no competing candidate or independent policy perspective is presented. The format makes that limitation apparent rather than presenting itself as a multi-perspective report.
- Source diversity — The article presents one candidate's answers and no outside sources.
- Counterarguments presented — No opposing views or responses from other candidates are included.
- Opinion vs reporting — The page is a clearly identified questionnaire rather than an independent policy analysis.
The page uses a neutral question-and-answer format and does not add an editorial judgment about Elam's positions. The candidate's answers express her own views, but the article's framing does not show a discernible political lean.
- Language tone — The text is presented as direct answers to questions, without loaded descriptions.
- Framing — The page identifies the questionnaire format and gives the candidate's responses in sequence.
- Headline — The headline identifies the interview subject and district without evaluative language.
