SOURCE CHECK
TAP FOR WHYCredibility rates Dailynews, which republished this story. The other scores rate the article itself.
Daily News is a regional news outlet, and this page identifies an author and presents a candidate questionnaire. The format offers little independent reporting or verification of the candidate’s claims.
- Source type — An established regional news outlet is a strong credibility signal.
- Author attribution — The page names Linh Tat as the author.
- Editorial standards — The questionnaire format is clear, but the candidate’s answers are presented without independent verification.
The questionnaire offers direct, attributable responses to a range of policy questions, but provides no independent sourcing, supporting evidence or competing perspectives.
HOW WE SCORE ↗Only the candidate’s responses appear, so the policy positions are not tested against other views. The questionnaire format and its varied questions provide structure but do not add counterarguments.
- Counterarguments presented — No competing views or responses from other sources are included.
- Opinion vs reporting — The page presents a candidate questionnaire rather than independent analysis of the answers.
- Source diversity — The candidate is the sole source for the substantive responses.
The page is a questionnaire that presents the candidate’s answers with little editorial framing. The questions cover a range of topics, and the format itself does not show a discernible political lean.
- Language tone — The presentation is predominantly straightforward question-and-answer text.
- Source selection — The candidate is the source for his own positions; no other political perspective is presented.
- Framing — The questions range across policy areas rather than advancing an explicit political argument.
