Donald Trump Reshares AI Image of Himself With Jesus Amid Backlash

(Photo Credit: Matt McClain/Stringer via Getty Images) President Donald Trump shared a new AI-generated image on Truth Social featuring Jesus again. This came just one day after he removed a different religiously themed post that had angered some Christian conservatives. However, this time, there’s a catch. Donald Trump posts AI image of himself with Jesus amid backlash The new AI image shows Donald Trump with a microphone in front of him and Jesus’s arms around his shoulders as an American flag waves in the background.  “The Radical Left Lunatics might not like this, but I think it is quite nice!!!” the president captioned it.  The Truth Social post comes on the heels of an earlier controversy when Trump shared an image that many interpreted as depicting him as Jesus Christ. The president removed that image on Monday following outcry from some of his staunchest religious allies. Then Trump offered a different explanation for the original image’s meaning. “I viewed that as a picture of me being a doctor in fixing — you had the Red Cross right there, you had, you know, medical people surrounding me,” Trump told CBS News. He referenced what appeared to be a nurse in the image. “And I was like the doctor, you know, as a little fun playing the doctor and making people better.” Trump expressed surprise at the negative reaction. “Normally I don’t like doing that, but I didn’t want to have anybody be confused,” he said when asked about removing the post. “People were confused.” House Speaker Mike Johnson of Louisiana confirmed the next day that he personally urged the president to take down the original Jesus image. “I did ask him to delete it,” Johnson told reporters (via Politico). Furthermore, Vice President JD Vance defended Trump’s actions as he characterized the original post as a “joke.” He told Fox News that Trump removed it “because he realized that a lot of people weren’t understanding his humor.” The second AI  image suggests President Trump remains undeterred by the initial backlash, though this version places Jesus alongside him as opposed to the earlier interpretation of him as Jesus.  The post Donald Trump Reshares AI Image of Himself With Jesus Amid Backlash appeared first on Mandatory.

JD Vance Responds to Donald Trump’s Jesus Photo Controversy

Photo by Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images Vice President JD Vance has weighed in on one of the most talked-about controversies surrounding President Donald Trump’s social media activity. The Catholic convert offered his take on the backlash that followed an AI-generated image of Trump posted and later deleted from Truth Social. JD Vance reacts to Donald Trump’s Jesus photo Vice President JD Vance has responded to President Donald Trump’s posting of an AI-generated image on Truth Social, per TIME. The image depicted Trump as a robed figure with light emanating from his hands. Vance downplayed the controversy surrounding the post, which Trump later deleted. “I think the President was posting a joke,” Vance said Monday about the image that drew backlash from Christians and conservatives. He added that Trump “likes to mix it up on social media” and called that one of the “good things” about the President. Vance noted Trump took the image down because “a lot of people weren’t understanding his humor.” Trump offered his own explanation when reporters approached him at the White House on Monday. “I did post it and I thought it was me as a doctor,” Trump said. He referenced a Red Cross connection and blamed the media for the backlash. “Only the fake news could come up with that one,” he added. Several prominent conservatives publicly criticized the post despite their general support for the President. Republican Rep. Warren Davidson of Ohio called the post “troubling.” He described it by saying, “this Truth Social post can only be described as madness.” Former Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene suggested the image was blasphemous. “He posted this picture of himself as if he is replacing Jesus,” she said. “I completely denounce this and I’m praying against it.” Conservative activist Riley Gaines also weighed in, saying “a little humility” would serve Trump well. “God shall not be mocked,” Gaines insisted. Trump dismissed Gaines’ criticism directly. “I didn’t listen to Riley Gaines. I’m not a big fan of Riley, actually,” he said. Gaines later said the post “missed the mark” but affirmed her continued support for the “America first agenda.” The post JD Vance Responds to Donald Trump’s Jesus Photo Controversy appeared first on Mandatory.

RFK Jr. Spotted With Arm Sling After Surgery

(Photo Credit: Heather Diehl/Staff via Getty Images) RFK Jr. wore an arm sling at a recent Ag Day 2026 event, two weeks after undergoing surgery. The HSS Secretary appeared to be recovering from an injury to his rotator cuff as he delivered a speech at the USDA. RFK Jr. posed for an event with arm sling Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was recently photographed with an arm sling at a National Agriculture Day event at the U.S. Department of Agriculture on Tuesday. The photos capture the Secretary of Health and Human Services posing with other officials as he sported a black sling securing his left arm. However, before he took the podium to deliver a speech, RFK Jr. appeared to have taken the sling off. The HHS made an official X post on Tuesday to share the photos from the event. The photos included Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins, Dr. Mehmet Oz, North Dakota Sen. John Hoeven, and EPA administrator Lee Zeldin. The post stated that “farmers and ranchers from across the country” attended the event to “unveil the new ‘Product of USA’ label.” Today, to celebrate #AgDay26, @SecKennedy and @DrOzCMS joined @SecRollins, @epaleezeldin, @SenJohnHoeven, @ZippyDuvall, and farmers and ranchers from across the country at @USDA to unveil the new “Product of USA” label. RFK Jr.’s latest appearance comes a couple of weeks after he underwent surgery for an injured rotator cuff. As reported by NBC News, doctors said that recovery “can be slow and painful.” They also recommended regular use of an arm sling post-surgery. RFK Jr. was also recently spotted wearing his arm sling at the World Down Syndrome Day event at HHS last Friday. With the Secretary appearing to be comfortable taking the sling off at the recent USDA event, he seems to be on the mend. Prior to the injury, RFK Jr. had famously shown off his physical prowess on multiple occasions. Last month, the health secretary teamed up with Kid Rock to share a shirtless workout video. Kennedy titled the short clip “Secretary Kennedy and Kid Rock’s Rock Out Workout.” The post RFK Jr. Spotted With Arm Sling After Surgery appeared first on Mandatory.
