Steven Horsford has represented Nevada’s 4th district in the U.S. House since 2019. On the November 3, 2026 ballot for re-election.
Horsford served in the Nevada State Senate from 2005 to 2013, including as majority leader from 2009 to 2013, and chaired the Congressional Black Caucus from 2023 to 2025.
Horsford studied at the University of Nevada, Reno and worked for R&R Partners before entering politics. Horsford served in the Nevada State Senate from 2005 to 2013, including as majority leader from 2009 to 2013. Horsford served in the U.S. House from 2013 to 2015, then returned to R&R Partners after the 2014 election. Horsford won election to the U.S. House in 2018 and began another term in 2019.
