Steve Chabot
Steve Chabot represented Ohio’s 1st district in the U.S. House from 2011 to 2023.
A lawyer, Chabot served on Cincinnati City Council from 1985 to 1990 and as a Hamilton County commissioner from 1990 to 1994, then represented Ohio’s 1st congressional district in the U.S. House from 1995 to 2009 and 2011 to 2023.
Chabot earned a Bachelor of Arts from the College of William & Mary in 1975 and a Juris Doctor from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 1978. A lawyer, Chabot served on Cincinnati City Council from 1985 to 1990, followed by service as a Hamilton County commissioner from 1990 to 1994.
