Ron Paul represented Texas’s 14th district in the U.S. House from 1997 to 2013.
Paul worked as an obstetrician-gynecologist and a U.S. Air Force flight surgeon before serving in the House from 1976 to 1977, 1979 to 1985, and 1997 to 2013. Paul sought the presidency in 1988, 2008, and 2012.
