Mike Rogers has represented Alabama’s 3rd district in the U.S. House since 2003. Chair of the House Armed Services Committee.
A lawyer, Rogers served as a county commissioner from 1987 to 1990 and in the Alabama House of Representatives from 1994 to 2002.
Rogers earned a bachelor’s degree in 1981 and a master’s in public administration in 1984 from Jacksonville State University, followed by a Juris Doctor from Birmingham School of Law in 1991. Rogers served as a county commissioner from 1987 to 1990 and in the Alabama House of Representatives from 1994 to 2002, then began serving in the U.S. House in 2003.
