Goodlander is a lawyer and former Navy Reserve intelligence officer who advised senators on foreign policy, clerked for Merrick Garland and Stephen Breyer, and served as counsel on the House Judiciary Committee.
Goodlander graduated from Yale College in 2009 and Yale Law School in 2016. Goodlander served as an intelligence officer in the Navy Reserve and advised Senators Joe Lieberman and John McCain on foreign policy. After law school, Goodlander clerked for Merrick Garland and Stephen Breyer, then served as counsel on the House Judiciary Committee during Donald Trump's first impeachment.
