Lois Frankel has represented Florida in the U.S. House since 2013. Ranking member of the House Subcommittee on National Security, Department of State, and Related Programs.
A lawyer, Frankel served in the Florida House from 1986 to 1992 and 1994 to 2002, then as mayor of West Palm Beach from 2003 to 2011.
Frankel earned a bachelor’s degree from Boston University in 1970 and a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1973. Frankel served in the Florida House from 1986 to 1992 and 1994 to 2002, including as minority whip and minority leader, then was mayor of West Palm Beach from 2003 to 2011.
