Josh Hawley
Josh Hawley has represented Missouri in the U.S. Senate since 2019. Chair of two Senate subcommittees: Crime and Counterterrorism; and Disaster Management, District of Columbia, and Census.
Hawley worked as a lawyer and served as Missouri attorney general from 2017 to 2019.
Hawley earned a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University in 2002 and a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School in 2006. After clerking for Judge Michael W. McConnell and Chief Justice John Roberts, Hawley practiced law from 2008 to 2011 and worked for the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty from 2011 to 2015. Hawley also taught at the University of Missouri School of Law and served as Missouri attorney general from 2017 to 2019.
