John Boozman has represented Arkansas in the U.S. Senate since 2011, after serving in the House from 2001 to 2011.
A former optometrist, Boozman served in the U.S. House for Arkansas’s 3rd congressional district from 2001 to 2011.
Boozman attended the University of Arkansas in 1972 and graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in 1977. In 1977, Boozman co-founded an optometry clinic and worked as an optometrist.
