Jim Banks
Jim Banks has represented Indiana in the U.S. Senate since 2025, after serving in the House from 2017 to 2025. Chair of the Senate Subcommittee on Employment and Workplace Safety.
Banks served on the Whitley County Council and in the Indiana Senate from 2010 to 2016, then represented Indiana’s 3rd congressional district in the U.S. House from 2017 to 2025.
Banks earned a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University Bloomington in 2004 and a Master of Business Administration from Grace College & Seminary in 2013. Before serving in Congress, Banks served on the Whitley County Council and in the Indiana Senate from 2010 to 2016, joining the Navy Reserve during the state legislative tenure.
