Jared Moskowitz has represented Florida’s 23rd district in the U.S. House since 2023. Ranking member of the House Subcommittee on Middle East and North Africa.
An attorney, Moskowitz served on Parkland’s city commission from 2006 to 2012, represented Florida House District 97 from 2012 to 2019, and led the state’s emergency management division from 2019 to 2021.
Moskowitz completed studies at George Washington University in 2003 and earned a Juris Doctor from Shepard Broad College of Law in 2007. Moskowitz joined Parkland’s city commission in 2006 and served through 2012. After winning election to the Florida House in 2012, Moskowitz represented District 97 through 2019. From 2019 to 2021, Moskowitz directed Florida’s emergency management division.
