Dina Titus has represented Nevada’s 1st district in the U.S. House since 2013. Ranking member of the House Subcommittee on Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials.
Titus taught political science at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and served in the Nevada Senate from 1989 to 2008, including as minority leader from 1993 to 2008.
Titus earned a bachelor’s degree from the College of William & Mary in 1970, a master’s degree from the University of Georgia in 1973, and a doctorate from Florida State University in 1976. Titus taught political science at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and served in the Nevada Senate from 1989 to 2008, including as minority leader from 1993 to 2008.
