Bob Goodlatte

Goodlatte is an attorney who chaired the House Judiciary Committee and later worked as a lobbyist.
Goodlatte earned a Bachelor of Arts from Bates College in 1974 and a law degree from Washington and Lee University in 1977. Goodlatte worked as congressional staff from 1977 to 1979 and practiced law before serving in the U.S. House from 1993 to 2019.
