Barbara Comstock
Barbara Comstock represented Virginia’s 10th district in the U.S. House from 2015 to 2019.
An attorney and former congressional staffer, Comstock served in the Virginia House of Delegates from 2009 to 2014 before serving in the U.S. House from 2015 to 2019.
Comstock earned a bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College in 1981 and a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1986. Comstock worked as congressional staff from 1991 to 1995 and held roles in government, including chief counsel for the House Government Reform and Oversight Committee and director of public affairs at the Department of Justice. Elected to the Virginia House of Delegates in 2009, Comstock served there from 2009 to 2014.
