THE BILL · S. 4009

Falun Gong and Victims of Forced Organ Harvesting Protection Act

Organ transplants rely on organs being obtained with the donor’s consent. The bill would require the President to list foreign people and organizations found to be involved in forced organ harvesting in China and impose financial and travel sanctions on them. It would also require a government assessment of China’s transplant system and state that the U.S. should investigate and condemn forced harvesting.
