Protect College Sports Act of 2026
College sports rules shape athletes’ ability to earn money, stay eligible and receive protection, while schools compete for players and broadcast audiences. The bill sets federal rules for athletes’ NIL deals, agents, medical and academic protections, transfers and revenue sharing. It also changes college sports broadcasting rules and creates a grant program for HBCU sports-media and connectivity infrastructure.
