Online registration (olvr.hawaii.gov; Hawaii driver license/State ID + SSN) stays open after the paper deadline and through Election Day. Same-day registration and in-person voting at voter service centers Oct 20 - Nov 3, 2026 (excluding Sundays), until the 7:00 p.m. close of voting; anyone in line at 7:00 p.m. may register and vote.

Voted ballots must be received by the County Elections Division by 7:00 p.m. (close of voting) on Tue Nov 3, 2026 - by mail in the prepaid return envelope, at any place of deposit (drop box; places of deposit open Oct 14), or at a voter service center. Anyone in line at a place of deposit or voter service center at 7:00 p.m. may return the ballot. Postmarks do not count.
