Transfer Pleasant Valley Ranger District site to Gila County
- Transfer the site to Gila County: If the county submits a written request within 180 days after enactment, the Secretary of Agriculture would convey the Pleasant Valley Ranger District Administrative Site, including its land and improvements, to the county. The parcel is approximately 232.9 acres in the Tonto National Forest
- Limit the land to veterans’ support: The county could use the land only to serve and support veterans of the Armed Forces. If any land is used inconsistently with that requirement, it could revert to the United States at the Secretary’s discretion
- Set the transfer’s terms and costs: The transfer would be without payment and by quitclaim deed, with no required federal covenant or warranty for the land and improvements. The county would pay the costs of the conveyance, including required surveys and environmental or historic-preservation reviews
