Baby Changing on Board Act
- Require tables in covered rail cars: Each covered passenger rail car would need a baby changing table in at least one restroom. Covered cars are newly built cars solicited for purchase after enactment, operated by Amtrak or a qualifying intercity passenger rail provider that receives or benefits from federal financial assistance
- Equip accessible public restrooms: If a covered car has an ADA-compliant public restroom, that restroom would also need a baby changing table. The required table is designed to support a child weighing up to 30 pounds
- Mark restrooms with tables: Each restroom required to have a baby changing table would need clear signs identifying the table and indicating its presence
