Respect State Housing Laws Act

  • Removes the federal 30-day notice rule: The bill would repeal the CARES Act provision requiring a landlord to give 30 days’ notice before starting eviction proceedings against a tenant in federally assisted or federally backed housing. Other applicable notice rules would still determine what notice is required
