Rescissions Act of 2025
- Rescinds international and peacekeeping funds: It cancels $33,008,764 and $168,837,230 for contributions to international organizations, and $203,328,007 and $157,906,000 for international peacekeeping activities. The first amount in each pair came from 2024 appropriations; the second came from 2025 appropriations
- Cuts global health and bilateral aid funds: It cancels $500 million for global health, with exceptions for HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, nutrition, and maternal and child health; those exceptions do not cover family planning and reproductive health. It also cancels $800 million for migration and refugee assistance, $43 million for the Complex Crises Fund, $83 million for the Democracy Fund, $1.65 billion from the Economic Support Fund, and $2.5 billion for development assistance, with specified exceptions for Jordan, Egypt, the Countering PRC Influence Fund, Feed the Future Innovation Labs, and commodity-based food aid
- Rescinds other development and disaster funds: It cancels $125 million for the Clean Technology Fund, $436,920,000 for international organizations and programs, $460 million for assistance for Europe, Eurasia, and Central Asia, $496 million for international disaster assistance, and $57 million for transition initiatives. The disaster-assistance rescission does not affect administration of commodity-based food aid
