CHIP IN for Veterans Act of 2025

  • Extend the donation pilot: The pilot program would continue through Dec. 16, 2031, replacing its current end date of Dec. 16, 2026
  • Add construction and maintenance projects: The program would cover donations of minor VA construction and nonrecurring maintenance projects, in addition to donated property or facilities
  • Update rules for donated projects: The bill would update related program rules to cover projects, including provisions on how donations may be used and VA’s authority to design, alter, or maintain them
