Protection of Women in Olympic and Amateur Sports Act of 2026
- Bars male participants from women’s competitions: The bill would require certified national governing bodies of amateur sports to prohibit a person whose sex is male from competing in an event designated for females, women, or girls
- Defines sex by reproductive system: The bill defines "male" and "female" by whether a person’s reproductive system produces, transports, and uses sperm or eggs for fertilization, including cases involving a developmental or genetic anomaly or historical accident. It defines sex as biological sex, either male or female
