Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, 2026

  • Fund DHS agencies through fiscal 2026: Would provide appropriations for the remainder of FY2026 to DHS offices and agencies including Customs and Border Protection, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, TSA, the Coast Guard, the Secret Service, CISA, and FEMA
  • Provide FEMA security and emergency grants: Would provide FEMA $3,836,748,513 for federal assistance, including grants for state and urban-area security, nonprofit security, firefighters, emergency response staffing, and flood-hazard mapping
  • Cover shutdown-related pay and obligations: Would authorize back pay, under current law, for federal employees affected by the partial DHS shutdown. It would also approve certain obligations incurred during the shutdown, including expenses to protect life and property and end government functions in an orderly way
