David Flippo won the Republican primary in Nevada’s 2nd District, a crowded 13-person race to replace retiring Rep. Mark Amodei. Former state Sen. James Settelmeyer had the support of Amodei and Gov. Joe Lombardo, while Trump backed Flippo. Amodei criticized Trump’s endorsement, saying Trump “made a mistake.”
