Darline Graham defeated Rep. Ralph Norman in South Carolina’s Republican Senate runoff, receiving 52.45% of the vote to Norman’s 47.55%. Graham will face Democrat Annie Andrews in November.
With all 2,311 precincts reporting, unofficial state results showed Darline Graham defeating Ralph Norman in the Republican runoff. Graham said she was honored to accept the nomination, while Norman conceded and criticized President Donald Trump’s involvement in the race.
Annie Andrews said she was ready for the November election after the Republican nominee was determined. Trump had endorsed Graham and held a tele-rally urging voters to support her; Graham was appointed to the Senate seat after her brother’s death.
