Angie Nixon won Florida’s Democratic U.S. Senate primary over Alexander Vindman, receiving 56.1% of the vote to his 43.9%. At the end of July, Nixon had raised $975,000 compared with Vindman’s $16.3 million. Nixon had called for a debate; Vindman did not agree to one. After the race was called, he praised her campaign and said he would support her against Ashley Moody.
