Company targeted in stalled FBI pay-to-play probe has Rhode Island footprint

WJAR reports that ProPublica described a stalled FBI investigation into alleged pay-to-play involving Sen. Susan Collins and Navatek, a company that also received federal funding for a University of Rhode Island project. Collins denied the allegations; the FBI told ProPublica that an earlier investigation found nothing implicating Collins or her campaign.
