Tom Emmer won Minnesota’s 6th District Republican primary with 80.91% of the vote and will face Democrat Doug Chapin in November. Two other Republican challengers finished behind him.
Unofficial results showed Emmer receiving 80.91% of the vote, with all 276 precincts reporting. Mike Foley received 15.27%, and Chris Corey received 3.81%. Emmer said he was grateful for voters’ support and described the November election as a choice between “chaos vs common sense.”
