A poll of more than 300 Montanans found Aaron Flint and Samuel Forstag nearly tied in Montana’s 1st Congressional District race, with Flint ahead by half a percentage point. The survey was conducted September 19–24.
Polling released by NonStop Local and the American Pulse’s Poling Club showed Aaron Flint at 45.9% and Sam Forstag at 45.4%, with 5.4% choosing Libertarian candidate Sheedy and 3.4% undecided. Flint led in the Butte-Bozeman area, while Forstag led among surveyed Missoula-area voters. A follow-up among undecided voters found 35.6% leaning toward Flint, 3.7% toward Forstag, and 60.7% still undecided.
