Thomas Massie lost Kentucky’s Republican House primary to Trump-backed Ed Gallrein, while NPR also reported on President Trump’s delayed threat of strikes against Iran and the San Diego mosque attack. Thomas Massie lost Kentucky’s Republican House primary to Trump-backed Ed Gallrein by nearly 10 percentage points. NPR correspondent Stephen Fowler said Massie had clashed with Trump over the Epstein files, Iran and other foreign conflicts, and the One Big Beautiful Bill. Fowler also reported on Georgia’s runoffs and voter turnout, and on Trump endorsing Ken Paxton against incumbent John Cornyn in Texas.
