Faith groups urge passage of bipartisan bill that would protect houses of worship from protest

Leaders from more than 30 faith groups urged Congress to pass the Right to Worship Act, which would penalize interference with religious services and allow affected worshippers to sue. House sponsors Thomas Suozzi and Brad Knott said the bill balances worship and protest rights; it will not reach the House before the midterm elections.
