New House bill would allow synagogues to use security grants to hire full-time security guards

Representatives Joe Neguse and Don Bacon introduced a bill to let recipients of the Nonprofit Security Grant Program use funds for full-time security staff and off-duty police officers. The bill would also allow limited grant funds to cover application and administration work.
